SalesX Chrome Extension - Privacy Policy

Data Collection

This extension collects and processes the following data:

• Salesforce account information: Only account details, contacts, and activities from the specific Salesforce account page you are viewing when the extension sidebar is open
• User preferences: Environment configuration setting (production or development mode)

Data Usage

• Only information about the Salesforce account that is currently being visited while the extension sidebar is open is sent to the SalesX application (next-salesx.vercel.app) for display and productivity features
• The extension does not collect or transmit data from other Salesforce pages, records, or accounts
• Environment preferences are stored locally in Chrome's sync storage
• No data is collected, stored, or transmitted to third parties beyond the SalesX application
• No personal information is collected beyond what is already available in your Salesforce account

Data Storage

• User preferences are stored in Chrome's sync storage
• No Salesforce data is permanently stored by the extension
• All data transmission occurs over HTTPS

User Control

• Users can uninstall the extension at any time to stop all data collection
• Users can switch between production and development environments

Permissions Explained

The extension requires these permissions:

• sidePanel: Display the SalesX application in a native Chrome sidebar interface
• storage: Save user preferences (environment selection)
• tabs: Detect when users navigate to Salesforce account pages and communicate between the content script and the sidebar
• activeTab: Access information about the currently active tab when the user interacts with the extension
• contextMenus: Add context menu options for environment settings
• Host permissions (*.salesforce.com, *.force.com): Run the content script that automatically extracts account data from Salesforce pages for synchronization with SalesX
